The story of ISE

The first Integrated Systems Europe tradeshow was held in Geneva, Switzerland in February 2004. The event was launched to fulfil the need for a pan-European forum for the emerging markets of professional AV and electronic systems integration, and quickly grew to become the undisputed annual marketplace for these industries – a focus not just for doing business but also for networking, education, and technological innovation. With the power of AV now being harnessed to reduce end customers’ financial and environmental costs, the show looks set for an even brighter future.

Always owned by not-for-profit trade associations, since 2007 ISE has been a joint venture between InfoComm International and the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA). As well as ensuring that all proceeds from ISE are re-invested into the industry, these Associations also act as the cornerstone of the event’s extensive education programme, which continues to grow year on year.

ISE 2011 will be held, like the previous three shows, at the superb RAI convention centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The show will attract professionals from every link in the AV and systems integration value chain, including manufacturers, distributors, dealers, contractors and consultants.

Beyond this, the event also acts as a magnet for thousands of technology managers and other end-users from fields such as education, financial services, transportation, visitor attractions, sports arenas, auditoria, retail, and hotels. And, as AV systems become a more integral part of modern buildings, our audience is expanding to include more and more architects, interior designers, property developers and project managers.
