MX0404-U08 has the same basic functions as MX0404-310. The difference is that all the outputs are converted into UTP. The configuration make it very suitable for the long distance cabling via UTP cables. MX0404-U08 could be used with standard UTP receivers such as EX0101-U01, EX0101-U31, EX0101-U51, EX0101-3U1 etc to build a small home theatre system. The other application is that using MX0404-U08 with SP0204-310 or SP0208-330 together, then they will be a large scale HDMI distribution system with 32 or 64 standard outputs. This system is suitable for a digital signage application or for demonstration purpose for TV seller in their shops(Such as in Bestbuy or Walmart).
